Bars of Ivy

A thoughtful new musical inspired by the 2019 college admissions scandal.

This fresh take on the 2019 college admissions scandal follows Ivy McKenna, a high school senior who is forced to deal with the consequences of a lie she didn’t tell. A coming-of-age story for both adolescents and adults, the musical examines how belief in someone can change lives, and societal “success” isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be.
